PALADAR

New name for The Unnamed Pop Up

Welcome to PALADAR

A Brand New Pop Up Restaurant in North Wiltshire

Delicious food in a gregarious atmosphere

What about the menu?

We will always have a theme for the evening - either based on a region or country or on a particular event. We aim to use seasonal, local produce and from the Vicarage garden where possible. There will always be a vegetarian option and often fish as well as a meat option as part of the set menu. As we are only a small kitchen we cannot cater for specific dietary requirements or allergies.

From Melitzana to Melodrama!

Sweeney Todd: Posh Pie and Mash Supper

It will have distinctly RED and GORY theme!

The main course will be 'Pie and Mash' with a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian pies - please let us know your choice when booking.

Never fear we will not be serving 'mystery meat' but some delicious variations on the 'Pie and Mash' theme - definitely Posh Pie and Mash and certainly a cut above Mrs. Lovett's Fleet Street pies!

We would love it if you made the effort and came in fancy dress - Victoriana and melodrama in keeping with the Penny Dreadful!

The exact menu is still work in progress but plan to offer a vegitarian starter followed by a

TRILOGY OF PIE AND MASH: three mini pies and three different types of mash.

Monster Mediterranean Mezze

September 22nd

We love the Greek way of a steady stream of decious mezze dishes shared at will and served at ease, where the conversation and wine ebbs and flows. The purpose of the mezze is to provide the backdrop for a social gathering. The little plates are shared by everyone at the table, which not only provides a wonderful variety of flavor and texture sensations, but also creates the kind of happy, convivial (perhaps noisy) atmosphere for which Greeks are well known.

It depends on what produce is available but dishes may include :-

Houmous;  Tzatziki;  Olives;  Greek Salad

Piperies me Feta;  Halloumi;  Spanakopitakia

Garides Skordates;  Souvlaki Arnisio;  Spetzofi

Melitzana;  Stifado

Baklava;   Home made Ice Cream

Saturday 18th May 2013

Caribbean Evening

A Caribbean theme - we have not decided on an exact menu but expect a flavorsome spicy menu, and if the weather is kind we may even start the evening in the garden with complimentary drinks and some gentle reggae tunes.
