PALADAR

New name for The Unnamed Pop Up

Welcome to PALADAR

A Brand New Pop Up Restaurant in North Wiltshire

We make specialty novelty cakes to order:-

We take your ideas and turn them into a cake reality! Based on a cake base of your choice (eg fruit, sponge, chocolate brownie etc) we design and build a completely edible cake to grace that special celebration. With the added WOW Factor ingredient you can be sure your cake will be unique and amaze your guests.

As a recent example we made a birthday cake for Jen - a girl who loves Dominos!

A rich chocolate brownie cake iced in fondant and butter icing and decorated with sweet mushrooms, chili, peppers, cheese, olives, herbs etc (no meat - its for a veggie!) All packaged in a genuine Domino's pizza box (Dominos very kindly donated the box!, which btw is not eddible!) complete with a pot of chocolate dipping sauce. As you can imagine Jen was completely surprised and overjoyed when she opened her birthday 'takeaway'.

Quote: - She absolutely LOVED the cake. I brought the box in and said “I stopped at Dominos on the way and picked up a pizza”  and put it on the table and when she opened it she freaked out! She said it is the best birthday cake she has ever had and will ever get (unless we manage to top it next year!).

More example pictures to follow but we have made a wide range of cakes from the adult Moulin Rouge corset (complete with stockings and a flash of nipples) to childrens combine harvester and a hot air balloon (yes even the balloon was edible icing!), and  a novelty wedding cake complete with stream, waterfall and bridge (also edible icing) which is where the bride said YES!

Current project in design in a model of Cirencester Sundial Theatre for their birthday celebration in Jan.

If you have an idea, however crazy (but, please, not half baked), then talk to us and we will see what we  can do. The only type of cake we don't attempt is the formal tiered cakes - just too boring we just want to do the fun stuff!
